Hero equipment explained

Unlike other Android or iOS games, Vikings:War of Clans has a very complex equipment system.

You can find the whole variety of equipment available to your hero in the Forge building.

It is very important to note that there are different categories of equipment. You can obtain each one of them in unique ways , some easy , some hard but the most important thing is that a Legendary grade item will feel like a Legendary.

You can choose the type of equipment you want to craft by clicking on the Equipment menu and then choosing from the drop down menu.

As shown in the image above, there are 3 types of hero equipment:

Standard, Invaders and Special.

The equipment quality is directly related to the quality of materials used in crafting it.

Standard Equipment is the easiest one to get because all the materials required are obtained from yielding resources on the global map.

Here is a list of where to find the standard materials:

Farmlands : Cotton, Elixir, Feather, Rope, Leather

Lumberjack's Shed : Debris, Feather, Hide

Hewer's Camp : Granite, Glass, Leather

Iron Deposits : Diamond, Lead, Steel

Silver Altar : Diamond, Cotton, Debris, Glass, Hide

 Each material comes in 6 different quality levels :

 Simple(Gray) < Usual(White) < Unusual(Green) < Rare(Blue) < Epic(Purple) < Legendary (Orange)

You can combine 4 of a lesser quality material to obtain 1 of a higher quality.

Examples : 4 simple = 1 usual , 4 epics = 1 legendary , 16 simple = 4 usual = 1 unusual etc

Invader Equipment is the next tier of equipment in game and some sets are the only ones available in game. (Royal Guardsman Set for example)

Invader equipment is obtained by combining standard materials with materials obtained by attacking and destroying invaders on the global map.

If you ever see a piece of equipment that you want from invaders please be aware that you should not be seriously farming invaders without having a Guardsman Set!

Special Equipment is the third tier of equipment in game and it has some of the best modifiers when it comes to combat and knowledge.

This type of equipment is only available to people who are in a clan that has a stronghold and that has researched that equipment.

In order to get a special equipment piece you will need to use Standard Materials , Standard Equipment , Invader Materials and Invader Equipment.

It is without a doubt the hardest equipment to get in game but also the best so it is worth it.
