Hello everyone and welcome to another Vikings:War of Clans Guide!
First of all what are hero sets and why should we use hero sets?
Hero sets are premade talent specs for your hero that you can save and swap between them with only one click of a button (or a tap if you play on Android or iOS).
Why should you use hero sets and not just reset talent points every time you want to do something else within the game?
Simply because you save a tremendous amount of time, and also you save 1000 Gold every time you do it, because a Hero Set swap is 2000 Gold and a Hero Skill Reset is 3000 Gold.
Before we begin I do advise you to have atleast hero level 50 or close to it and make atleast 2 Hero Sets : 1 for farm mode and 1 for war mode.
Step 1: Making your First Hero set:
If you are happy with your skills as they are right now and want to keep them as a hero set, go to the Hero's Abode, or just click/tap on your hero's icon from your town and go to Hero Sets.
After you open the Hero Sets menu, select an Available Slot and click on Save. You will then be prompted to select a name for your hero set. (I usually go for Farm / War to make it easier for me to know which hero set does what).
Please be aware that saving a hero set will also save your current Equipment configuration to that hero set so whenever you will swap to it , the equipment you have selected for it will be automaticaly equiped.
Step 2: Making your Second Hero set:
So now you have your first hero set but you also want to save your second one to be ready when war is upon your Viking Town!
The right way to do this is by Reseting your Hero Skills to whatever skills you want saved to the secondary Hero Set, and then by clicking on the Save Button in the Hero Set Menu. It's very similar to what you did before , but I have wasted a lot of gold to figure this out because I always went for Save instead of reseting skills first ☺️
Step 3: Updating your hero set after your hero levels up:
If you are using a hero set as default ( example farming) and your hero levels up, your hero skills that you have selected after leveling up will not be saved to your hero sets so always remember this as it will slow you down a bit.
Say you are currently using the "Hello Readers2" Hero Set and you level up. All you need to do is spend your points as you see fit and then go to the Hero Sets Menu and click on the little Arrow.
By doing so you will see a screen like this :
You Click/Tap on the Replace button and your Hero Set will now contain the extra points that you have spent.
Repeat for any other Hero Sets you have if you want to spend the points right after you level but do not forget to activate them first.
You can also wait untill you actually need those hero sets to update them so you don't spend gold swaping back and fourth every time you level.
