New Legendary Competition in Vikings:War of Clans Battle for Jotunheim

Hello everyone and welcome another Vikings:War of Clans guide!

So I logged in today and I noticed this whole new set of competitions related to Jotunheim which seem to have amazing rewards!

Throne of Jotunheim

I have taken the time to gather all the information I could about this so I can write a guide on it to give you the best advantage possible when tackling this new Battle for Jotunheim competition!

What we know so far:

Certainly there are rumors regarding this new Legendary Competition but let's take a look at the "cold" - pun intended - facts!

Battle for Jotunheim rewards:

These look amazing! If you somehow manage to win the competition you will be granted the folowing:

King of Jotunheim Honorific Title
Choice of Legendary Equipment from the King's pack
10 B Food , Lumber, Stone, Iron
8 B Silver
8 M GOLD!!!
6 Kingdom Titles
Unique King Icon in the chat 
Unique Kingdom Icon in the Kingdom's Map 
20 Gift Coffers for any Jarl !!! 
7 days of Jormungard Town Skin
Unique Hero Skin
Right to select the weekly invader
Direct Comunication with a company representative

"The Battle for the Throne legendary Competition.

The Battle for the Throne takes place in Jotunheim, the icy world of giants. You can capture the Throne of Jotunheim over two days. The Jarl who succeeds in holding the Throne the longest (the duration of all attempts is added together) will become the King of Jotunheim and get unique trophies and privileges.

In Jotunheim, you can also fight the Monsters - the Troll and Egir's Votary. You'll get a special Coffer of trophies for each attack on the Monster, and a whole set of Coffers for killing it.

Remember: the harder the attack, the richer the reward.

Requirements for participating in the Competition:

-Your account was created more than 30 days ago

-Your Palace is level 21 or higher

-You are a Clan member

- You don't have active marches or troops in garrisons"


Scoring points for the Legendary Battle for Jotunheim:

A very important piece of information is that if you Idle in Jotunheim for more than two hours you will be transported back to your home kingdom.

So it seems Plarium did not post how exactly to win those cool prizes but from the Clan and Personal Competition it seems that the only way to gain points towards those prizes is by holding the Jotunheim Throne for a certain duration ( In the clan competition , 1 second of holding it = 13 M points )  The Personal Competition also has enemy troop kills as giving points so it might also be a combination of the two.

How to get to Jotunheim:

This new place on the map seems to only be accessible via the Competition Interface , after claiming your relocation items , much like Clan vs Clan and Kingdom vs Kingdom, you can press the Go To button and you will be able to preview the giant's icy world of Jotunheim.



Also it seems this competition will be held during Kingdom vs Kingdom : Revenge so make sure you set your priorities!

What I really enjoy seing is the feedback the community is giving on this because everyone seems thrilled of the new changes in the game preceding this new major update. Like the inability to clan hop for example!
